Colonel '''George Sydenham Clarke, first Baron Sydenham of Combe''', {{Post-Nominals|country=GBR-cats|G.C.S.I.|G.C.M.G.|G.C.I.E.|G.B.E.c}} (4 July, 1848 &ndash; 7 February, 1933) was a British soldier, colonial administrator and author. He served as the first secretary to the [[Committee of Imperial Defence]] from 1904 to 1907.
