H.M.S. Suffolk was one of ten armoured cruisers of the Monmouth Class completed between 1903 and 1904.
There was a heavy cruiser Suffolk launched in the 1920s.
Service
Recommissioned at Devonport on 27 February, 1913 under Captain Philip Francklin as flagship of Fourth Cruiser Squadron.[9]
Recommissioned at Devonport on 27 February, 1914 for service at Jamaica.[10]
In August, 1919, she was one of four cruisers placed under the command of Captain Francis Wade Caulfeild under the oversight of the Rear-Admiral commanding the Devonport Reserve.[11]
