Service
Branch was commissioned 26 July, 1920 Commander Frank H. Roberts in command.
Branch was one of the fifty U.S. destroyers transferred to the Royal Navy for World War II, becoming H.M.S. Beverley.
She was sunk by U-188 near Iceland while escorting a convoy, with only four of 155 crew surviving.
