H.M.S. K 7 was one of 18 submarines of the "K" class.

Service

On 16 June 1917, K 7 torpedoed U 95 at 59deg 31' N., 1deg 0' W., but the torpedo failed to detonate. Reportedly, the head of the torpedo remained in the target's ballast tank.[6]

K 7 collided on 31 January, 1918 with K 4, which was sinking after receiving greater collision damage at the hands of K 6 in the great misadventure dubbed the Battle of May Island. K 4 was lost with all aboard.
