S.M.S. Saida was a rapid kreuzer of the Imperial and Royal Austro-Hungarian Navy. She was the third ship of the Admiral Spaun class.
Background
She was laid down 9 September 1911. Like Helgoland before her, she had heavier armament than Admiral Spaun.
Combat History
Saida started the war with machinery issues. Her first action was 23 May 1915 when she participated in the bombardment of Porto Corsini. On 17 August of that year, Saida along with SMS Helgoland bombarded the island of Pelagosa.
