The Battenberg Course Indicator was a Navigational Instrument helpful in a variety of navigational tasks, or even to help solve Torpedo Control problems.[1]
It was invented in 1892 by Captain Prince Louis of Mountbatten[2] and issued to the fleet commencing in 1895.[3]
