Lieutenant Richard Charles Meade Lord Gillford, (10 June, 1868 – 14 October, 1905) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Lord Gillford was appointed to H.M.S. Victoria in December, 1890. He was promoted in her to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1891, and on 20 August appointed flag Lieutenant to Admiral George Tryon in Victoria. He was fortunate to survive her loss in the Mediterranean on 22 June, 1893.
He was appointed to Resolution in December 1893.
Lord Gillford commanded a torpedo boat in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1895.
His resigned from the service on 11 May, 1897.
