H.M.S. Itchen was one of 36 destroyers of the "River" class.

Service

In mid-1913, she was operating with the Ninth Destroyer Flotilla. On the afternoon of 18 May, one of her boats was swamped off Granton, resulting in the loss of seven of the twenty men from Itchen, Kale and Ure aboard.
