Life & Career
Lieutenant Talbot was appointed in command of the submarine C 14 on 27 March, 1912.[1]
Talbot was appointed in command of the submarine E 6 on 19 March, 1913.[2]
On 17 October, 1913, his appointment to E 6 was renewed and he was also appointed in command of her sister submarine, E 16.[3]
He was in command of E 16 on 15 September, 1915 when she torpedoed U 45 at 59deg 10' N, 5deg 9' E..[4]
Commander Talbot was appointed in command of the depot ship Ambrose on 19 September, 1918, and placed in command of Ambrose's Flotilla.[5]
