H.M.S. Zubian was a playfully-named destroyer created by joining the forward section of the mined Zulu to the aft part of the Nubian, which had been torpedoed. The result was a serviceably spliced craft which one might call one of the "Tribals".
Service
On 4 February, 1918, she sank the UC 50.[6]
In July of 1918, Zubian was serving in the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla, part of the Dover Patrol.

- Lieutenant in Command Henry J. Hartnoll, 20 June, 1917[7] – 25 May, 1918
- Lieutenant in Command Gordon F. Hannay, 30 May, 1918[8] – 3 March, 1919
A Lieutenant, R.N.R. I cannot identify, "T. J. B. Wood", was appointed in command on 4 March, 1919.[9]
