Captain R.N.R. (retired) Arthur Tillotson Brown, (10 April, 1878 – June 1942) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Brown was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 12 August, 1910.
Brown was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 12 August, 1918.
Brown was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 30 June, 1922.
Brown was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 10 April, 1928.
World War II
Brown died at sea while in command of the newly-delivered Mauretania.
