H.M.S. C 4 was one of 38 submarines of the "C" class.

Career

On 28 October 1917 near 50deg 22' N., 0deg 19' E., C 4 hit UC 17 with a torpedo that failed to detonate.[4]

The event nearly replayed itself when on 27 March 1918 near 50deg 28' N., 0deg 14' E., C 4 hit UB 57 with a torpedo that failed to detonate.[5]

  • Lieutenant J. D. A. Musters, in command on 28 October 1917 and on 27 March 1918.[6]
