The three cruisers of the Highflyer class were completed in 1899 and 1900.

Armament

Torpedoes

  • two submerged 18-in torpedo tubes arranged on the broadside forward, depressed 3 degrees and bearing abeam; axis of tube was 6 foot below load water line and 1 foot above deck.[1]

Fire Control Instruments

In 1913, each ship was to receive two Officer of Quarters Range-Keeping Instruments.
