Commander Charles Cecil Flemming, R.N., Retired (29 November, 1894 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Charles E. T. Flemming, Esq., a medical practitioner.

He spent a year and a half in Invincible before being appointed to Audacious on 1 January, 1914. He survived her loss to a mine in October and took leave in November. On 24 November he was assigned to Lion. On 16 February 1915 he was appointed to Crane.

Flemming was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1916.[1]

Flemming was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 June, 1924.[2]

Flemming was placed on the Retired List at his own request dated 1 April, 1931.[3]

Flemming was promoted to the rank of Commander on 29 November, 1934.[4]
