Lieutenant Donald Nixon Gray, M.B.E. (23 April, 1900 – 10 January, 1924) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Gray was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1921.
Gray died aboard L 24 when she was lost with all hands following a collision with battleship Resolution eleven miles off Portland Bill on 10 January, 1924. He is entombed within the submarine at thirty fathoms depth.[1][2]
