Commissioned: 12 Sep, 1862
Sold: 21 Feb, 1923
H.M.S. Black Prince was one of two Warrior Class armoured frigates completed for the Royal Navy.

She was renamed H.M.S. Emerald in 1903 and worked as a receiving ship at Queenstown then was renamed Impregnable III in 1910.
