H.M. T.B. 6 was one of 36 first-class torpedo boats of the Cricket class.

Originally named H.M.S. Gadfly, her name was changed to Torpedo Boat No. 6 in 1907.

Service

Re-commissioned 27 August, 1909 under command of B. M. Harvey.[7]

On 31 May, 1912 while attached to the Nore Defence Flotilla, T.B. 6 collided with the government tug Marmion. Ten feet of the torpedo boat's stem was twisted to port; the tug emerged unhurt. T.B. 6 was docked.[8]
