Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Joseph Sanders, R.N. (1 March, 1855 – 8 May, 1930) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Sanders was promoted to the rank of Boatswain on 21 January, 1881.

Sanders was promoted to the rank of Chief Boatswain on 2 February, 1903.

Sanders was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 November, 1904.

Sanders was placed on the Retired List due to age on 1 March, 1910 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 9 August, 1913.
