Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. Bernard Lawson Parker, D.S.C., R.N.R. ( – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Parker was promoted to the rank of Temporary Sub-Lieutenant R.N.R. on 13 June, 1915.[1]

Parker served in the paddle minesweeper Ravenswood from 23 May 1915. In January, 1916, he was appointed in command of the vessel. His application to serve in the acting rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. was refused on 10 April 1916, but it was granted on 12 May.[2]

Parker was promoted to the rank of Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. on 13 June, 1917. The next day, he was appointed in command of the paddle minesweeper Sandown.[3]

He was demobilised on 22 March 1919, with an effective date for this apparently being 15 May.[4]
