Eur Ing David Keith Brown, M.Eng., F.R.I.N.A., sowc, R.C.N.C. (29 June, 1928 – 15 April, 2008) was a British naval architect and prodigious author of books and articles on British warship design and construction.

Life & Career

David Keith Brown was born in London on 29 June, 1928, and was educated at Leeds Grammar School. He studied naval architecture at the University of Liverpool and graduated with First Class Honours in 1949, and received his Masters of Engineering in 1951. He obtained a First Class Certificate in Naval Construction from the Royal Naval College, Greenwich in 1953.
