George Lawley & Son was an American builder of small boats located in Massachusetts.
History
The firm operated a yard at Scituate from 1866 to 1874, when operations moved to South Boston. In 1909, after building two torpedo boats for the U.S. Navy, work was moved to a new location in Neponset.
The yard became one of many small builders which landed a sizable share of twenty sub chasers of the over 400 the U.S. built for the Great War.
