H.M.S. Clive (1882)
Builder: Laird[1]
Launched: 1882[2]
Sold: c. 1919

H.M.S. Clive was a troopship of 3570 tonnes active with the Royal Indian Marine. Oddly, this ship is not mentioned in the suitable section of the Navy Lists I have consulted.

Service

Clive arrived at Malta on 17 May 1884 and was expected to leave for Portsmouth soon thereafter.[3]

On 27 January, 1885, she arrived at Malta from Marseilles.[4]
