H.M.S. Lennox was one of twenty-two destroyers of the Laforey class.

Service

On 17 October, 1914, Lennox was one of four destroyers of the Third Destroyer Flotilla Captain Cecil H. Fox in the Undaunted led in the Battle off Texel, where the British succeeded in destroying an inferior force of four torpedo boats.

On 10 March, 1916, Lennox collided with Miranda. Miranda's Lt. Cdr. Crohan was blamed for the accident and was told to be more careful in future.

On 22 April 1917 Lennox was in another collision, this time with Ariel. Ariel's Cdr. Reinold received the Admiralty's displeasure for having left the bridge in the hands of an inexperienced officer on watch.[6]

The ship was reduced to C. & M. Party at the Nore on 26 December, 1919.[7]
