Vice Admiral John Daniel McDonald (1863 – 1951) served in the United States Navy.
Life & Career
McDonald was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 17 July, 1898.
McDonald was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander on 1 January, 1904.
McDonald was promoted to the rank of Captain in December, 1911.
McDonald was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral in December, 1918.
McDonald was promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral in May, 1921.
