Konrad Mommsen

Vizeadmiral Konrad Mommsen (10 May, 1871 – 4 November, 1946) was an officer in the Imperial German Navy

Life & Career

At the Battle of Jutland, as a Fregattenkapitän , he commanded the light cruiser Pillau.[1]

He was appointed in command of the battlecruiser Von der Tann from 27 April, 1917 to 12 July, 1918.[2]

He was promoted to the rank of Vizeadmiral on 1 November, 1923.
