Samuel Walter Tansley

Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. (retired) Samuel Walter Tansley (21 August, 1884 – 6 November, 1947) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Tansley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 August, 1915.[1]

He was placed on the Retired List as physically unfit on 1 February, 1918.[2]

Tansley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 2 August, 1923.[3]
