U.S.S. Farragut was one of one hundred and fifty-six Clemson Class destroyers completed for the U.S. Navy.
Service
After commissioning on 4 June, 1920, Farragut sailed for San Diego, California, arriving there on 3 July. She was immediately placed into reserve until 31 March, 1922.
