William Nicholls

Commander R.N.R. (retired) William Nicholls, R.D., R.N.R. (11 July, 1883 – 8 November, 1935) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Nicholls was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 August, 1915.[1]

Nicholls was demobilised on 5 February 1919 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 2 August, 1923.[2]

Nicholls was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 11 July, 1928.[3]
