Admiral Edmund Hyde Smith, C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (21 June, 1865 – 13 July, 1939) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Great War

On 21 September, 1915, Hyde Smith was appointed Senior Officer at Sheerness in charge of Naval Establishments.[1] He was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 2 November, 1919.
