Admiral Arthur William Waymouth, C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (16 or 18 November, 1863 – 14 January, 1936) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
Waymouth was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1895,[1] at the age of thirty-one years, seven months, and twelve days.
Waymouth was promoted to the rank of Captain on 26 June, 1902.[2]
In July, 1914 it was announced that Waymouth would succeed Rear-Admiral Montague E. Browning as Rear-Admiral in the Third Battle Squadron on 1 September.[3]
Waymouth was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 2 July, 1917, vice Bradford.[4] He was placed on the Retired List on 27 September.[5]
