Admiral Ernest Alfred Simons, Royal Navy (3 September, 1856 – 30 August, 1928) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
On 1 January, 1906, Simons was appointed a Naval Aide-de-Camp to King Edward VII, vice Login.[1]
Promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 27 August, 1911, vice Charles Grey Robinson. Simons was promoted to the rank of Admiral dated 24 October, 1914,[2] and placed on the Retired List on 24 October, 1915.[3]
He died in London on 30 August, 1928 a few days shy of his seventy-second birthday.
