H.M.S. Phoenix was one of two Phoenix Class screw sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Phoenix was lost while out of commission and moored at a buoy in Hong Kong harbour when a typhoon struck. Driven onto a seawall, she fell over. She was sold for scrap on 7 January, 1907.[6]
