Vice-Admiral (retired) Philip Ruffle Sharpe, (30 June, 1831 – 26 November, 1892) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Sharpe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 9 November, 1854.
Sharpe was promoted to the rank of Commander on 24 June, 1867.
Sharpe was promoted to the rank of Captain on 5 June, 1875.
Retired 1 February 1886 at his own request.
Sharpe was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral in June 1887.
Sharpe was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 2 September, 1892.
