H.M.S. Orion was one of five Leander Class light cruisers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned on 16 January, 1934 for service with the Second Cruiser Squadron of the Home Fleet.[5]
She suffered a slight collision near New Orleans at around New Year's Day, 1938. She went to Bermuda for repairs.[6]
