Konteradmiral William Michaelis (19 July, 1871 – 5 January, 1948) was an officer in the Imperial German Navy.
Life & Career
Michaelis was given command of the First Squadron in 1909.[Citation needed]
He was appointed in command of the battleship Thüringen.
He was promoted to the rank of Konteradmiral in 1919.[1]
