Rear Admiral George Collier Remey (10 August, 1841 – 10 February, 1928) served in the United States Navy.
Life & Career
Remey was born in Iowa.
He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1859.[1]
Remey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 August, 1861.[2]
Remey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander on 25 June, 1865.[3]
Remey was promoted to the rank of Commander on 25 November, 1872.[4]
Remey was promoted to the rank of Captain in October, 1885.[5]
Remey was promoted to the rank of Commodore in June, 1897.[6]
Remey was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral on 20 November, 1898.[7]
