Commander R.N.R. (retired) Henry Annall, R.D., R.N.R. (19 October, 1879 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Annall was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 28 May, 1911.[1]

In 1918 while he was in command of Spanker, he was cautioned after fouling Seagull's cable. On 9 September, he was appointed in command of an unspecifief minesweeper at Lowestoft, being on the books of Halcyon during the appointment. This lasted until he was demobilised on 27 February, 1919. He was soon thereafter promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 28 May, 1919.[2]

Annall was placed on the Retired List owing to non-sea service at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 4 July 1922.[3]

World War II

Called up in 1938. On 29 August 1939, he was made N.C.S. at Boston.[4]
