H.M.S. Cricket was one of twelve gunboats of the "Insect" class. She had a long career on the China Station.

Service

She recommissioned at the Nore on 6 January, 1920.[6]

She reduced to Reserve at Shanghai on 23 December, 1923.[7]

She re-commissioned on 5 March, 1925.[8]
