Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. (retired) Archibald George Lecaudey (8 October, 1884 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Lecaudey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 January, 1916.[1]

Lecaudey was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 101 on 17 August, 1917. He served in her through the end of the war, leaving on 20 March 1919. He was to be demobilised on 11 May, but this was cancelled in favour of 30 June, 1919.[2]

Lecaudey was placed on the Retired List on 26 November, 1922 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 January, 1924.[3]

World War II

Lecaudey was mobilised and put to work on the staff of the Flag Officer in Command, Liverpool, in the rank of Lt. Cdr., retired.[4]

In 1948, he reported that he was living in Cheshire and working as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society.[5]
