Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. (retired) Wilfred Charters (24 October, 1888 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
He served in the battleship Marlborough from 25 June 1915 until 23 May 1917, seeing action in her at the Battle of Jutland. He was added to the permanent list of R.N.R> officers. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 30 June, 1916.[1]
Charters was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 42 on 23 May, 1917.[2]
Following service in Heroic[?], Charters was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 30 June, 1924. He was demobilised on 15 January, 1920.[3]
