Commander R.N.R. (retired) Edwin Alexander Stuart, D.S.C., R.D., R.N.R. (16 December, 1885 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Stuart was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 November, 1916.[1]

Stuart was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 7 on 6 May, 1917.[2]

Demobilised on 16 February, 1919, Stuart was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 November, 1924.[3]

Stuart was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 16 December, 1930.[4]

In 1948, he reported that he was a Master of the White Star Line, but due to retire at the end of the year.[5]
