Captain R.N.R. (retired) Dunslay Harwood Casson, R.D. (26 May, 1878 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve. Some Navy Lists have him as "Dunsley", but this seems the minority view.

On 2 August 1914, Casson was appointed to the armed merchant cruiser Armadale Castle. He left her to join Hyacinth in June, 1916, but returned to Armadale Castle in mid-August, acting as her executive officer.[2]

Casson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 January, 1918.[3]

Demobilised on 9 September, 1919.[4]
