Captain (retired) Andrew Johnstone, D.S.O., R.N. (25 February, 1885 – 13 October, 1967)[1] was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Johnstone was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1907.
Johnstone was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1915.
Johnstone was appointed in command of the destroyer Orpheus on 17 May, 1918.[2]
Post-War
He was appointed in command of the gunboat Moth on 24 December, 1919.[3]
Johnstone was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1920.
Johnstone was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 3 May, 1931.
