Vice-Admiral Sir James Andrew Gardiner Troup, K.B.E., C.B., A.D.C. (7 March, 1883 – 11 May, 1975) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.
Troup was a notable contributor to The Naval Review under his initials J.A.G.T.
