Thames Ironworks was a British shipbuilder from the early 1800s with its yard at Blackwall..
Laird's began with warship construction in the 1840s and was a leader in large vessels by 1885. Their primary yard was at Birkenhead.[1]
Shipbuilding
Constructed Warrior in 1859. Its last major warship was Thunderer when it faced liquidation in 1912, thus ending major construction on the Thames.[2]
