Britain launched twelve Insect Class Gunboats in 1915 and 1916 for riverine use.
Design
The vessels were as follows:[1]
- 645 tons
- 237.5 feet overall
- 4 foot draught
- 36 foot beam
- 14 knots on 2000 I.H.P.
Armament
- two 6-in guns
- two 12-pdr guns
