Captain Donald John Munro, C.M.G., F.R.G.S., Royal Navy, Retired (11 January, 1865 – ?, ?) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Promoted from Commander (Retired) to Captain (Retired) on 11 November, 1918 "in recognition of services rendered during the War."
After the war he wrote a number of books on naval experiences, including The Roaring Forties and After, Scapa Flow: A Naval Retrospect and Convoys, Blockades and Mystery Towers.
