Rear Admiral Edward Buttevant Barry (20 October, 1849 – 27 November, 1938) served in the United States Navy.
Life & Career
Barry was promoted to the rank of Commander on 9 March, 1900.[1]
Barry was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 March, 1905.[1]
Barry was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral on 1 February, 1909. Barry was forced to resign on 13 January 1911 while Commander-in-Chief, Pacific Fleet after a sexual liaison with a cabin boy.[1]
