H.M.S. Forres was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Forres was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 17 May, 1920.[6]
She re-commissioned on 8 September, 1924.[7]
Forres was re-commissioned with a nucleus crew on 22 November, 1932.[8]
She was transferred into Dockyard Control at The Nore on 5 June, 1934.[9]
