H.M.S. Oberon was one of 103 destroyers of the "M" class.

Service

In December, 1916, Oberon joined the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla.[6] She went missing from the Navy List from May through July of 1917, but in August was back with 13 D.F..[7] However, in November she was one of eight "M"s evicted from the Thirteenth, being sent directly to the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla where she was under the command of the Commander-in-Chief, Devonport.[8]

She was reduced to C. & M. Party at the Nore on 28 November, 1919.[9]
